Joshua Levin-Epstein

Mr. Levin-Epstein has represented individuals and business on a contingency basis in shareholder disputes, minority shareholder disputes, breach of construction contract actions, employment litigation, breach of contract actions, breach of license agreements, real estate disputes, bankruptcy litigation, judgment enforcement, unpaid invoices, breach of escrow agreements, start-up company founder disputes, among other business and commercial claims.

Mr. Levin-Epstein is admitted to practice in the U.S District Court and the U.S Bankruptcy Court, in both the Eastern and Southern Districts, respectively, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He has tried cases to verdict in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York, the Industrial Board of Appeals, and before the American Arbitration Association.

Mr. Levin-Epstein has lectured at the Foreign and International Law Committee of the New York County Lawyers’ Association on the topic of the enforcement of foreign money judgments.  His presentation provided a practical overview for practitioners on the procedural and technical entry of the money judgment and service in accordance with the relevant procedural rules, the identification and location of the judgment debtor’s assets, and the enforcement of the judgment against the judgment debtor’s real and personal property in accordance with the relevant legal rules. 

Prior to founding the firm, Mr. Levin-Epstein was part of the Business Solutions, Governance, Restructuring & Bankruptcy practices at international and national law firms where he represented constituents in complex litigation and transactional matters. He also served as Law Clerk to the Honorable Alan H.W. Shiff in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the District of Connecticut (Bridgeport Division). 

Mr. Levin-Epstein received a B.S. in Foreign Service from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. At Georgetown University, Mr. Levin-Epstein received several merit based scholarship awards. Mr. Levin-Epstein received his J.D. from The University of Michigan Law School.


Jason Mizrahi

Mr. Mizrahi is an Associate at Levin-Epstein & Associates, P.C. His practice focuses on hospitality law, employment litigation, judgment enforcement litigation, bankruptcy litigation and contract litigation. He has extensive experience with claims involving labor law, breach of contract, bankruptcy and intellectual property matters, and frequently represents businesses and individuals in state and federal court.

As a multi-faceted litigator, Mr. Mizrahi regularly advises food and hospitality industry leaders on real estate, wage-and-hour, employment and general business matters. 

Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Mizrahi worked as an Associate at a boutique law firm concentrating on business law and commercial litigation. He was previously In-House Counsel and Human Resources Manager for a wholesale baking company with global operations in China, South Korea and the United States. 

Mr. Mizrahi earned his Juris Doctor Degree from Brooklyn Law School, and his B.A. from the University of Maryland. He is admitted to practice in New York and in the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York.
